Product Leaders Consulting GmbH (Data Controller) is a boutique consultancy for organizations that develop digital (i.e. software) products. We help our clients to develop their organizational structure, processes and foremost culture. The company is headquartered in the European Union, particularly in Austria. 2. How we process data

The Data Controller processes the User Data in a proper manner and takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access and unauthorized disclosure, modification or destruction of data.

Data processing is carried out by means of computers or IT-based systems, following an organizational procedure and mode strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, access to the Data may be granted to certain categories of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the site (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies or communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Owner. An up-to-date list of these parties can be requested from the controller at any time.

3. What data we collect and why we collect it

3.1 Cookies

We want our website and services to be as informative and personal as possible and as user-friendly as possible. For this reason, we use “cookies” on our website. 3.2 Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. (“Google”). The information generated in this way about your use of the website (including your IP address truncated to the last octet and anonymized prior to its storage by the “_anonymizeIp()” method) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. 3.3 Google Tag Manager

Our website uses the Google Tag Manager (GTM) service from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). A transfer of data to the USA and access by public authorities in the US to the data stored by Google cannot be ruled out, however. Google LLC, which is based in the USA, however, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement, the “EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework”, which guarantees compliance with the level of data protection that applies in the EU. Google only transfers such data to third parties on the basis of statutory provisions or within the scope of contracted data processing. We have no influence on the scope or further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool. The use of Google Tag Manager takes place on the basis of point (f) of Article 6 (1) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the fast and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website.

3.4 Google AdWords Conversion-Tracking

AdWords conversion tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. that connects data from the Google AdWords advertising network with actions performed by this application. Personal data collected: Cookie and usage data. Place of processing: USA. This type of service allows you to interact with social networks or other external platforms directly from this application. The interaction and information obtained through this application are always subject to the user’s privacy settings for each social network. If a service for interacting with social networks is installed, it can collect data from the traffic for the pages on which it is installed, even when users are not using the service.

3.5 Registrations, Purchases and Transactions

Our website allows us to sell services to you including electronic payment processing. For the purpose of providing our services to you we collect the following data:

  1. Training Registration: Name* (first, last), email address*, company name*, billing address*, shipping address, telephone number (* a required information for purchasing the service)
  2. Inquiries about consulting services: Name (first, last), email address, company name and address
We store your data as long as we consider it required for conducting business with you. After that period we will delete your data upon request. We will only contact you based on your consent.

4. Interaction with external social networks and platforms

We provide links to social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) in various areas of our website. You can recognize these by the logo of the respective social media provider. When you use our website, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the social media platforms. Only when you click on these links will you be redirected to the website of the respective social media provider and then transmit personal data to the provider. You will then leave our website and we will have no influence on the data collected and the data processing operations, nor will we be aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes and the storage periods. If you click on such a link, the social media provider is informed that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our online offering. In addition, the data mentioned in the “Collection of personal data for informational use” section of this statement will be transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether you have an account with this social media provider and are logged in to it. If you are logged in to the social media provider, this data will be assigned directly to your account. The social media provider stores the personal data as a user profile and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or designing its website to meet demand. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to display demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, but to exercise this right you must contact the respective social media provider.
